Inspiring Creativity. Empowering Self-Esteem. Igniting Imagination.

The Midlothian High School Theatre program is a place for students to develop a lifelong passion for the arts. We foster independent thinking in a creative environment and encourage students in artistic growth on the stage, in the classroom, and in life.

Descendants: The Musical - October 15-17, 2026

Based on the popular Disney Channel Original Movies, Disney’s Descendants: The Musical is a brand-new musical jam-packed with comedy, adventure, Disney characters, and hit songs from the films! Imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost – home of the most infamous villains who ever lived – the teenaged children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil have never ventured off the island… until now. When the four troublemakers are sent to attend prep school alongside the children of beloved Disney heroes, they have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good?

HADESTOWN - TEEN EDITION - January 21-23, 2027

Journey with us to a world where love, hope, and music have the power to challenge even the darkest of places. Hadestown: Teen Edition weaves together the timeless stories of Orpheus and Eurydice and Hades and Persephone in a hauntingly beautiful journey to the underworld and back. Set to a soulful blend of American folk and New Orleans-inspired jazz, this unforgettable musical explores the struggle between industry and nature, doubt and faith, fear and love—and reminds us why, even when we know how the story ends, we keep telling it anyway.
